Socks - Socks - and more Socks!
We just got the call today - More Pagewood Farm Chugiak yarn is on its way to us! This time around, we are going with some of the more popular colorways and carrying multiple skeins in those colors (so there will be great yardage for those that want to use this great yarn for lace projects). We are also receiving about 30 skeins of their new sock yarn that contains cashmere! I've seen the yarn in person and it is SO soft! I can't wait for it to come in - I'll keep you posted.
We also received more of our Fleece Artist / Hand Maiden order. This time around is Sea Wool - another great sock yarn made from 70% Merino and 30% Seacell. Wonderful sheen and feel.

New Sock Book!

We know how popular sock knitting is - especially for the summer knitting season! We just received a new sock book - The Eclectic Sole by Janel Laidman.
If you are a sock knitter, this is a good book to add to your knitting library.

Gnomes, Mushrooms and Ladybugs!
We have Marie Mayhew's latest "Woolly" pattern - Woolly Gnome & Mushroom - and it is just adorable!

The Gnome is approx. 7" tall and the Mushroom is 4". Both use worsted weight feltable wool (Cascade 220 would be a great choice).
We are also excited to announce that we will be carrying the Schacht line of spinning wheels and equipment. Our first order of Ladybug Spinning Wheels are scheduled to be here around the fi

RSVP Time Again & Afghan Knit-Along update
It's that time again - Friday Night Knit Nite is June 6th from 6 - 8 pm! If you are planning on attending, please send me a quick RSVP by email to pam@knitterspalette.com. The next one will be in August since the first Friday in July is July 4th and we will be closed that day.
We are hoping to have our Great American Aran Afghan underway soon! In the last newsletter, I asked about interest and which days would work for everyone. As you can imagine, the days and times that worked for people were all over the board so we are planning a daytime knit-along as well as an evening knit-along - Wednesday afternoons and Thursday evenings. If you are interested in participating, please contact the shop as soon as possible!
